The photo first. The greeting next.
- Choose a photo you love. Use a clear JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10MB. Avoid motion blur and keep faces visible.
- Try your free portrait. Keep the page open during creation, which can take several minutes. Check every face, hand, and paw before deciding to buy.
- Make your card elsewhere. Download the portrait, add a greeting in a card editor, and choose digital sharing or a separate print service.
The free portrait has a watermark. The optional collection supplies 20 HD scenes without watermarks. Your scenes are generated from the photo; there is no individual scene picker or card-layout editor in the upload flow.
Digital greeting or a printed keepsake?
For a greeting by text or email, inspect the exported design on your phone so faces and lettering remain easy to see. For print, use your printer’s requested dimensions, bleed, and crop. A 5 × 7-inch card can hold a smaller framed photo, so the portrait does not need to fill the entire card.
XmasPhotoAI creates digital image files. Printing, postage, physical gifts, and delivery are separate services. Follow the portrait-to-card walkthrough for the complete design and proofing steps.
Before you order prints
Will your photo fit?
Find the downloaded image’s pixel dimensions in its file information. Check them against the area you want the photo to fill.
This check assumes a crop to fill the selected area and excludes bleed. It checks pixel density, not sharpness or AI accuracy. Adobe recommends 300 pixels per inch for high-quality prints. Always follow your printer’s specifications and inspect its proof.
Before your greeting goes out.
Does this create a complete Christmas card?
It creates a Christmas portrait image. Add the greeting and card layout in a separate editor. Printed cards, mailing, and gifts are not included.
Can I check my portrait before buying?
Yes. Create and download one free watermarked preview with no card needed. The $5.99 collection of 20 HD scenes without watermarks is optional and paid once.
Will an HD portrait fit a full-size printed card?
Check the actual file dimensions and crop. HD does not guarantee suitability for every print size. Use the size checker and follow the printer’s requirements before ordering.
Before uploading, read how your photos are stored and shared.
